Growing up, I did what I wanted and didn’t give a fuck. That attitude got me into a world of shit too. Truth is, you should do what you want and do it often, but within “reason”.

IF YOU DON’T LIKE SOMETHING, CHANGE IT.

There’s so much bullshit in this world – it’s a never-ending onslaught on your senses. You can’t really change it all, that’s why god invented the unfollow option.

IF YOU DON’T LIKE YOUR JOB, QUIT.

I did, thank god that’s behind me. But now I have 20 more weeks to reach self-sustainability before shit gets really tight. The clock is ticking. Btw, it helps to know how to program websites.

IF YOU DON’T HAVE ENOUGH TIME, STOP WATCHING TV.

TV’s such a paradox. I can’t even. Maybe that’s why I haven’t touched it since 2009.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE, STOP; THEY WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU WHEN YOU START DOING THINGS YOU LOVE.

Really? Because I’ve been doing what I love for about a year now and still nothing. All I’m saying is she better be worth all this wait.

STOP OVER-ANALYSING, LIFE IS SIMPLE.

This is generally a rich man’s mantra but yes, life should be simple.

ALL EMOTIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL.

How about that feeling of total and utter embarrassment after you’ve soiled yourself at the age of 36 after ingesting copious amounts of Amazonian plant medicine? Well, I guess it did help my acting.

WHEN YOU EAT, APPRECIATE EVERY LAST BITE.

I would appreciate every last bite if: my food came from renewable, sustainable sources, and from combustion-free farms. It’s gotta be fresh. And all-natural. And hopefully organic. Hold the sugar. Gluten-free is cool too.

LIFE IS SIMPLE.

And often times very hard. Not in a complicated way. But just in the right way that will make you work real hard for what you want. And when you get it, you’re crying tears of joy. Life – simple, yet effective.

OPEN YOUR HEART, MIND AND ARMS TO NEW THINGS AND PEOPLE, WE ARE UNITED IN OUR DIFFERENCES.

I don’t know what kind of people are on your subway ride in the morning but I’d save this kind of talk for a date.

TRAVEL OFTEN; GETTING LOST WILL HELP YOU FIND YOURSELF.

I love getting lost, in my head. I’ve been to the edge of the universe and back in all my travels. And yes, I owe it to all my mind-bending experiences that I finally found myself.

SOME OPPORTUNITIES ONLY COME ONCE, SEIZE THEM.

I’m so good at this in every aspect of my life except women. And so I say this to feel better about myself: Everything happens for a reason; If you don’t end up seizing an opportunity, it’s probably because you weren’t meant to.
